By entering After Dark Scream Park (“the Event”), including any and all attractions, you (“you,” “your,” “participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. NATURE OF THE EVENT

After Dark Scream Park is designed as an intense, immersive horror experience. By attending, you acknowledge and accept that you may be exposed to:

• Adult themes and graphic horror content.

• Special effects including fog, haze, strobe lighting, darkness, and loud noises.

• Confined, disorienting spaces and unpredictable environments.

• Uneven or slippery flooring, steps, and physical obstacles.

• Sudden scares, startles, and simulated violence.

• Interactions with live actors, including physical contact in certain attractions (see section 4).

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

You understand and voluntarily accept all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in the Event and its attractions, which may include physical injury, psychological distress, or property loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless After Dark Scream Park, Trago Mills, its owners, operators, affiliates, staff, volunteers, contractors, and venue from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for personal injury, psychological trauma, property damage, or loss suffered as a result of your participation, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.

3. HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

By entering, you confirm that:

• You do not suffer from any condition that could be aggravated by participation, including but not limited to: heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, severe anxiety, claustrophobia, sensitivity to strobe lighting or loud noise, or physical mobility limitations.

• You are not pregnant.

• You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• You understand that medical help may not be immediately available inside the attractions.

• You accept all risks associated with physical activity, emotional stress, and exposure to a high-intensity horror environment.

4. BACKWOODS ABATTOIR – EXTREME ATTRACTION & PHYSICAL CONTACT

Backwoods Abattoir is an extreme, immersive, “full contact” horror attraction recommended for those aged 16+. By entering, you specifically acknowledge and consent to the following:

• Psychological Intensity: The attraction is designed to push the boundaries of fear and psychological endurance. You may experience extreme simulated terror, graphic scenes, simulated abduction, isolation, and sensory overload. You may be separated from your group and encounter situations designed to cause panic or discomfort.

• Physical Contact: Professionally trained actors may gently touch, guide, or redirect you (e.g., with hands on your shoulders, arms, or back), briefly separate you from your group, or direct your movement for safety or immersive effect. You may be required to crawl, bend, or physically navigate obstacles.

• Professional Standards: All contact is strictly non-violent and professional. Actors will never touch sensitive or private areas, choke, hit, or grab forcefully, and any accidental harm should be reported immediately.

• Participant Conduct: You agree not to touch, threaten, or harm actors, staff, props, or other guests. Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund.

• Consent & Verification: Entry is recommended to those aged 16+ who have signed this waiver and wear the designated wristband for Backwoods Abattoir. Proof of age may be required.

5. GENERAL EVENT CONDUCT & POLICIES

• You agree to follow all instructions from staff and posted signage at all times.

• You agree not to touch, damage, or interfere with props, sets, or other guests.

• You understand that any violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the attraction and/or event without refund.

• Safe Word/Opt-Out: If at any point you wish to stop the experience, notify a staff member or use the designated safe word/gesture (please ask staff for details). You will then be escorted out by staff. No refunds will be given if you choose to exit early.

6. WRISTBAND SYSTEM & ENTRY

All guests must wear the appropriate wristband for their ticket type at all times:

• Street Pass: General admission (no maze access)

• Scream Pass: Maze access (includes Backwoods Abattoir)

7. MEDIA RELEASE

You consent to the use of your likeness, image, and voice in any photos, video, or recordings taken at the event for promotional purposes, without compensation.

8. SEVERABILITY

If any part of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing below (or by entering the Event/attractions and accepting a wristband), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this waiver and accept all risks and conditions described above.
