After Dark Scream Park – Terms & Conditions

1. Ticket Purchase & Entry

All tickets must be purchased through our official website or authorised sellers. Tickets are only valid for the date and time stated on your booking.

Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold, exchanged, or refunded except as outlined in Section 5 (Event Cancellation).

Entry is subject to capacity limits and all guests must present a valid ticket (printed or electronic) for admission.

The organisers reserve the right to require photographic ID to verify ticket holder identity.

Duplicate tickets will not be issued for lost or stolen tickets.

2. Age Restrictions

The event is recommended for ages 13+. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18+).

Certain attractions, including Backwoods Abattoir, may have stricter age or entry requirements as stated in event literature and on our website.

The organisers reserve the right to request proof of age at entry. No refunds will be given for refusal of entry due to failure to provide valid identification.

3. Security & Entry Policies

All guests are subject to bag searches on entry. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without refund.

For your safety, security personnel—including dog handlers—will be present throughout the event. Please follow all instructions from event staff and security at all times.

No alcohol may be brought into After Dark Scream Park. Any alcohol found in your possession will be confiscated and you may be refused entry without refund. Alcohol is available for purchase inside the event.

No illegal substances, weapons, or items deemed dangerous by security staff are permitted on site.

The organisers reserve the right to search persons and property at any time.

Anyone found in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from the event without refund and may be reported to the police.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove from the site any person who appears intoxicated, is acting inappropriately, or fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

4. Event Content & Experience

After Dark Scream Park features intense scare attractions, live actors, mature themes, strobe lighting, loud noises, special effects, and scenes some guests may find disturbing.

Participation in certain attractions (such as Backwoods Abattoir) may involve brief, controlled physical contact from trained actors. This will be fully explained by staff prior to entry.

The organisers reserve the right to change the advertised line-up, maze themes, entertainment, opening times, or any aspect of the event at any time without prior notice. No refunds or compensation will be given for such changes, provided the overall event proceeds as scheduled.

The organisers reserve the right to alter any aspect of the event for safety, legal compliance, or operational reasons.

5. Event Cancellation, Force Majeure & Refunds

In the unlikely event that After Dark Scream Park is cancelled in its entirety by the organisers, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket face value. Refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method.

If the event is rescheduled, tickets will be valid for the new date or a refund will be offered if you cannot attend.

The organisers are not liable for any other costs incurred by ticket holders, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other expenses.

The organisers are not responsible for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather, pandemics, government regulations, strikes, labour disputes, fire, flood, war, terrorism, or any other force majeure event.

No refunds or compensation will be issued due to adverse weather conditions, acts of God, or other causes beyond our control.

6. Health & Safety

Guests attend and participate at their own risk. By entering the event, you acknowledge and accept all inherent risks associated with scare attractions.

Guests with medical conditions (including but not limited to epilepsy, heart conditions, pregnancy, or sensitivity to special effects) should consult a doctor before attending. Participation is at your own risk.

Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

No alcohol may be brought into the event. Only alcohol purchased on site may be consumed within the event grounds.

Alcohol may be available for purchase. Guests who appear intoxicated or under the influence will be refused entry to attractions and may be asked to leave without refund.

In case of emergency, please follow the instructions of event staff and security personnel.

The organisers reserve the right to close or evacuate any attraction or area for safety, security, or emergency reasons without liability or compensation.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

Anti-social, aggressive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff, actors, or other guests will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.

All guests must comply with event rules and staff instructions at all times.

The use of abusive language, threats, violence, or harassment of any kind will result in immediate expulsion from the event and may be reported to authorities.

8. Accessibility

We strive to make our event as accessible as possible, but some attractions may include uneven terrain, darkness, tight spaces, and other features that may not be suitable for all guests. Please contact us in advance to discuss specific accessibility needs.

Assistance dogs are welcome; no other animals are permitted on site.

The organisers are not responsible for accessibility issues arising from the nature of individual attractions.

9. Re-Entry Policy

Re-entry to the event is not automatic. If you need to leave and wish to return on the same night, you must obtain a Re-Entry Ticket from security before exiting. Re-entry is at the discretion of event staff and may be subject to capacity and security checks.

10. Photography, Filming & Media
-
Photography and filming are not permitted inside any scare mazes or attractions. No flashlights or laser pointers are allowed.

By entering the event, you consent to being photographed or filmed by our team for promotional and archival purposes.

The organisers reserve the right to use any such media without compensation to attendees.

11. Personal Property

The organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal possessions brought to the event.
-
Lost property can be reported to event staff and will only be retrievable once it is safe to do so.
-
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data collected during ticket purchase or event participation will be handled securely and in compliance with UK GDPR and data protection laws.

Your information will not be shared with third parties except as required for event operations or by law.

You may be contacted with important information regarding your booking and essential event details.

13. Group Bookings

For group bookings, all members of the group must adhere to these Terms & Conditions. The lead booker is responsible for ensuring all group members are aware of event policies.

14. Animals

Except for registered assistance dogs, no animals are permitted on site.

15. Personal Responsibility & Indemnity

By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you accept full responsibility for your own actions and behaviour, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers, staff, and venue from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your attendance or participation.

Any damage to event property, attractions, or facilities caused by a guest will result in liability for costs of repair or replacement.

16. Limitation of Liability

The organisers’ total liability to any ticket holder shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.

Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

17. Changes to Terms & Conditions

The organisers reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Please review them before attending.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
